Turning Point Center for Families offers accessible and comprehensive prevention, intervention, and therapeutic counseling services tailored to the needs of youth, individuals, couples, and families.
Turning Point is a non-profit, bi-lingual counseling center located in the heart of Orange County. Our center was founded in Santa Ana, CA in April of 1995 and moved to Costa Mesa, CA in 2017. Turning Point Center for Families services local communities by providing affordable prevention, intervention, and therapeutic counseling to youth, individuals, couples and families. We also offer comprehensive training and supervision for graduate students in psychology.
We offer counseling services at affordable fees based on a sliding scale.
We treat a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, family issues, life stresses, parenting difficulties, addiction, relationship problems, and more. Therapy is provided by Trainees and Associates who are held to the highest standards, and supervised by licensed clinicians with many years of experience.
We offer counseling and group services in English, Spanish, and other languages.
We help resolve difficulties by fostering healthier communication and mutual understanding among family members.
We work with couples to build on strengths, clarify unspoken relationship difficulties and increase intimacy, pleasure and satisfaction.
Therapy activities and interventions are customized to age and needs. These activities are evidence-based approaches to help kids/teens understand their struggles and better manage stressors and emotions.
Our therapists provide supportive education and processing in a variety of adult, youth, and teen group counseling settings including, anger management, relationships, life skills, parenting, and more.
Comprehensive training and supervision for Masters-level students pursuing licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Psychology.
